There are many benefits when working in partnership with parents as communication between the key practitioner and the parents can ensure the safety and needs of the child. Those needs include:
Allergies
Any allergies the child may have, such as allergies to products or food, will be avoided once the key practitioner knows about them.
Preferences
Sometimes a parent will prefer their child to use certain types of products and will usually supply these products for their child to use
Culture and religion
Some parents may want us to care for their child in a different way due to cultural or religious ways. For example, they may wish to only wash their child under running water.
