The human body
The human body to most can be an weird and unfamiliar place. Yet here are just some of the many systems of the ever most intriguing human body. (cardiovascular system , the skeletal system)
The cardiovascular system, most think its only the heart and veins. When in reality It includes capillaries and arteries too. This system can do as much as carry blood throughout our body but also help get rid of waste like water, oxygen and carbon dioxide which are products of our respiration system. Our blood also helps spread out salts, enzymes, nutrients, hormones, and heat across the body. Now lets go a little more into detail. The heart which is the most important muscle in the body (this muscle is an involuntary muscle which means it moves without you having to think about it.) It is located between the lungs and is protected by the rib cage. The heart has two sides on the left side the heart carries oxygenated blood into the cardiovascular system and on the right side the heart carries deoxygenated blood. The heart actually has 4 chambers that enter and leave it. The main artery which is leaving the heart is called the aorta and the main vein that is entering the heart is called the vena cava. This vena cava actually branches out into two the superior vena cava ( this returns blood from the neck and brain) and the inferior vena cava( this returns blood from the rest of the body.) These are just some of the many parts and functions of the heart.
