Prince Roger Nelson was born in Minneapolis

Prince Roger Nelson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 7, 1958. He was a very popular singer in the 90’s. His parents were John.L Nelson and Mattie Shaw. They separated during his youth. Prince had a bad relationship with his stepfather which made him to run away from home. Prince was adopted by a family called the Andersons. Then he started his career at age 18 and started working on high-quality demo tracks with Chris Moon. With these demo tracks, Prince eventually ended up signing a recording contract with Warner Brothers Records and was the youngest producer associated with the label. Prince made his debut on the record label with his 1978 album, For You. It wasn’t a strong successful album, but it was fair for a beginning artist and ranked 163 on the U.S. Pop Charts. Some his famous hits were Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Let’s Go Crazy and Kiss. Then sadly Prince died on April 21, 2016 . He was found dead and supposedly died from an accidental drug overdose . Now every April 21, in Minnesota, people celebrate the famous singer Prince.
